The Praise Bands
The Kirk's new Contemporary Music Service is led with a variety of musical
and spiritual leadership.
Zeljko is a concert organist, keyboard artist and composer who regularly employs his considerable skills at electronic and synthesizer arrangements as accompanyment to the Kirk Choir, as well as solo offerings on piano or organ.
He is regularly engaged as composer and orchestrator of musical scores for films as well.
He offers the Kirk a broad array of excellent inspirational music in many styles and origins.
Our
dedicated
choir
is currently
twenty
five members
strong
and it
regularly
performs
classical
choral
favorites
as well
as lively
renditions
of contemporary,
traditional,
folk and
ethnic
compositions.
They rehearse
every
Thursday evening
7:30 - 9:00
pm
and an
hour before
Worship Services
The Praise Team
Sunday worship regularly includes praise songs for communal singing.
The Praise Team introduces the congregation to new songs and leads us as we continue to learn joyful new ways to worship God.

to worship
services
during holidays
and special
occasions.

Fred plays
a cool solo
sax to the
congregation
on various
occasions.
He also performs
on flute
and as lead
tenor vocalist
with the
Chancel choir.

Carrington
- Flute
Choir
alto
Karen
frequently
accompanies
the Chancel
Choir with
excellent
artistry on flute
as well
as playing
solos as
well as
duets with
Fred.
David
Carrington
- Organ
Choir
tenor
David
is
a classically
trained
organist
who
maintains
a career
as a Doctor
of Medicine and
occasionally
finds time to
play
for a worship
service.
Eric
Cloud - Keyboards
Baritone
Eric
regularly
plays
piano
energetically
with the
Praise
Team,and
on
occasion
inspires
us
with one
of his amazing
organ
solos.
He
is also directs the
Celebration
Bells
Choir.
Warren
Mays - Guitar
Tenor/baritone
Warren
offers
us
an
occasional
solo
guitar
and
voice
performances
and
often
accompanies
the Praise
Team as
well.
Joyce
Osborn - Violin
Joyce is a professional
musician
and dedicated teacher of violin.
She often
contributes her talents to our worship music in special solo performances or as an accompaniest to
the choir.
Carol
Piekaar -
Keyboards
Years
ago, Carol
was the
primary organist
for the Kirk.
She has since played
for other
churches, while retaining
her Kirk membership, and currently graciously fills in as needed on organ or keyboard .
Guitarron
The excellent lead vocalist and guitarist of the band "Corizón
de Mariachi".
