"The Bagpiper"
The Kirk recently completed a major sanctuary remodel. The new versatile gathering space includes an expanded chancel-stage platform, improved lighting and sound, flexible seating, and a totally new and inviting contemporary design. This beautiful new space is intended to enhance worship, as well as to serve as a performing arts space and an excellent acoustically live space for music recitals, concerts and community gatherings.

We received a generous grant that supported a year of worship renewal. Worship renewal is a gift of the Holy Spirit that leads worshipers to a deeper encounter with God. During this grant year we built on the strengths in our present worship life exploring new expressions in preaching, the sacraments, music, dramatic and visual arts. We also refined the use of multi-media technology in the projection of words and images to enhance our worship services.
This program of worship renewal was made possible through a Worship Renewal Grant from the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship, Grand Rapids, Michigan, with funds provided by Lilly Endowment Inc.
