Adult Education
Adult Education follows the Sunday worship service on an intermittent basis, led by various members of the Kirk's congregation and ministry.
The times and durations are announced in advance in the worship bulletins and in our monthly newsletter, the Kirk O'The Valley Bagpiper.

The current seminar course, "The Jesus I Never Knew" meets every Sunday, at 11:30a.m. and is led by Pastor Jeff. It is based upon the Gold Medalion Book of the Year by Philip Yancey, which reveals the real Jesus beyond the stereotypes, offering a new and different perspective on the life of Christ and His work - his teaching, his miracles, His death and resurection. An excellent video featuring the author and illustrative film clips encourages lively discussion.

Circle Magdalene
Circle Magdalene fellowship has began it's fall sessions for Bible study on the second Monday of each month from 10:00 AM- 12:00 noon in the Angie Quinn Library.
All Kirk women, friends and guests are welcome to join in this fellowship
Leader: Dorothy Whidden.
The study this year is the Horizons Bible Study, "Above and Beyond -
Hearing God's Call in Jonah and Ruth".

We believe in actively reaching out to individuals and families in the community to share our Kirk spirit, the warmth and joy we feel when we come together as a church family.

Our Children's Ministries
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."  Matthew 19:14

After School Bible Story Classes are held every Wednesday afternoon during the school term, from 1:00-2:00 for Preschool children, and from 3:00-4:00 for Kindergarden and Elementary ages. The classes provide Biblical stories as well as snacks, crafts and coloring activities

Church School is the place where children and youth learn how to be in a close relationship with God through Jesus Christ and how to love and live with others. It is the unique place where children and youth can find others who are of the same age, growing in their faith. A place where they will hear Bible stories just for them. Where they can have meaningful talks about ordinary and extraordinary aspects of life. Where they can be in a relationship with a mature Christian adult.  A place where they can explore, laugh, express, create, listen, share, pray, and so much more. A place created just for them.

Many Gifts and Talents: What does it take to provide a joy-filled, caring and faith-full ministry to children at Kirk O' The Valley? Maybe it takes a talented person like you! Youth to retired folk are welcome! There are many ways to minister to our children and youth besides teaching. Below are some of the opportunities for you to prayerfully consider.
